Grief and the Fear of the Unknown

Call it an irony or even a paradox but grief has the power to pull you into more unknowns and make you feel utterly uncomfortable. Too much change is scary and the transitions can be painful.

On the latest Grief Refuge podcast episode, Reid shares an interview with friend and colleague, Jan Owen. Jan is a licensed therapist in Alabama and the author of the book Fighting Forward. Jan shares more of her personal story and how she navigates her own grief, plus she provides helpful guidance for anyone grieving and struggling with the fear of the unknown.

Healing is hard work. When loss, grief, and trauma are the culprits, it’s hard to believe that everything will work out. Hopefully, this interview and conversation with Jan will help shine some light on your pain.

Please enjoy the conversation on the Grief Refuge Podcast. You can listen on Apple, Spotify, the Grief Refuge app, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
